Miguel Polaino – Orts has a doctorate in Law and won the Extraordinary Doctorate Award from the University of Sevilla. He is also a Magister iuris comparativi from Bonn’s University, where he was a successful DAAD/La Caixa scholarship holder. Nowadays, he is the main professor of Criminal Law at University of Sevilla and guest professor at several universities from Spain, Germany, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Venezuela, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay, El Salvador, Japan, Korea, Taiwan; and some of them have granted him several prizes. He has written many essays on Law, History, Literature, and has translated many books from German and Italian to Spanish.
